The second full-length work by the French DIY Darkwave solo act slowly begins to reveal itself by disclosing visceral and murky immersive intertwines of sharpened icy-cold drum machines, persistent menacing rumbling bass lines, pain-filled guitar engravings and spectral synth blows, in a fatalistic mechanical dance punctuated by haunting, grave baritones that drag inexorably into the pitch black pool of a tormented soul, weighted down with oppressive dramatic perceptions amid faded glimpses of redemption.

The almost regular monthly lowkey Soundcloud release from the darkwave electronic musician, residing in the natural Californian highlands, has become a longtime pleasant habit; “Hard Way” is led by a steady punchy drum programming, along with bright spirals of pulsating synths and poignant orchestral strings around abrasive whispery words, warning about how taking the easy way out or following along with the crowd leads to less in life, not more.
