- Bern, Switzerland industrial /post-punk /synth wave band PLAGUE PITS “The Numinous” title track from the upcoming cassette EP “The Numinous”
At short distance from the last brilliant second EP, the Swiss collective return with their boldly eclectic and lashingly reinvigorating dystopian blend of ’80s inspired throbbing dark disco and defrost cold wave inspecting magnetic and nostalgic synth-pop edges through a bouncing bed of treacherous droning low ends, dazzling sharp synth swirls and twinkling keyed arpeggios over distressed emotionless vocals dropping modern dystopic insights into a deceptively alluring machine of systemic oppression while dancing to the groove of his frigid heart.

Californian synthesist delivers a cold, spatial somehow stifling new single lead by mechanical beats to obsessively spin heavily pulsing loops of droning low end oscillations, and translucent waving billows of glassy synths, around the soft emotional vocal cries of vulnerable sorrows to create a heady aural escape into the vast dark skies lit by dancing daydreams.

Russian one-man band ‘shares his blood with us’ with a second single rife with distorted, obsessive, visceral shoegaze-layered post-punk pervaded by deep heartfelt despair released through driving aggression and fear over mechanical punchy rhythms interlaced with a relentless droning bassline dreadfully rumbling, encircled and stabbed by excruciating piercing guitar wails and uncanny ghostly shrouds to overwhelm stumbling, frightened, disconnected vocals delivering eerie, angry accusations into a sinister and haunting confrontation of violence and pain.
