Time passes but our beloved Berlin duo never ceases to captivate and artfully reinvent themselves with flair. The new single “Maybe Late” is a seductively lush dance-inducing slice of bliss-kissed darkwave, draped with entrancing swells of modern electronica, relentlessly propelled by hypnotic bouncy bass grooves, cut through by steady slashing beats, haloed in spiraling icy swathes of razor-sharp glowing synths around sad breathy magnetic vocals, achingly longing for a loved one, whose heart is pulled in another direction.

Despite the clear familiar hints, the NYC trio churns out an infectious single of indisputable charm, soaked in 80s retro ecstasy with even a final vocal ‘lalala” of epic Jim Kerr glory. Dealing with the, at first, uncomfortable silence that occurs in the mind after a healing transformation takes place, “Beautiful Lie” casts lush, soulful, ringing guitar riffs that creep into the darkness to chime and sizzle around wistful, worried vocals, soaring in warm emotional cries.
