Bogotà based, Colombian “Antimateria” founders and production/DJ duet of Franco & Gaël, the latter also co-head of Píldoras Tapes label, teetering on the boundaries among the past and the future in a refreshing and solid set of pounding and hypnotic dark electronica varying from techno, electro to EBM and industrial and everything in between.

  • Berlin-based EBM/dark electronic/techno/Italo disco French producer, half of Imperial Black Unit, aka Lapse Of Reason, PABLO BOZZI “Sleepless Nights” off V/A “Apocalypse Domani” compilation on Giallo Disco

Just in time to add a dash of deadly spice to the summer, Antoni Maiovvi and Vercetti Technicolor‘s Giallo Disco label brings a dark and treacherous vibrating nocturnal journey through late 70s/early 80s dark synth-laden horror movie vibes, buried in Italo disco, electro and techno filled wicked pulsing rhythmic energy, that will grab you through to the very end.

  • Chicago-based industrial/EBM/electro musician Beau Wanzer “Toss The Burner” from V/A “How Sick Do You Get When You Look At Yourself?” on L.I.E.S. Records

Certainly not the most ‘summery’ of listenings, nor for the fainted heart, but rather appropriate for these rough, gravelly times of pandemic, decay of the Western neo-liberal systems and forced isolation combined with existential uncertainties, Chicago-based eccentric mastermind delivers, with unmistakable flair, a harsh and edgy industrial paranoic trance, infected with clanging and screeching noises, razor-sharp hisses, acidic abrasions, agonising voices, punctuated by torrid monotonous rhythms, while infused with gritty humour. Part of a whole sick compilation of the finest experimental electronics infected of EBM, proto-house, noise, industrial, electro, post-punk, minimal synth and leftfield techno.
