In a period of mourning for the sad loss of Florian Schneider, Barcelona-based Irishman Gerard Ryan is one of the best producers to have better absorbed classic Kraftwerk icy shimmering synth wizardry.

Having started to listen to electronic music in the early 90s with the Braindance of Warp and Rephlex, I’m thrilled to still listen to one of the Italian pioneers of the time, along with Marco Passarani, Bochum Welt in such a great shape, the crispy percussive patterns and the icy glassy melodic synth strings of the EOD remix are mindblowing …
