Since the late ’90s, I have been an attentive follower, also buying some of their records by mail order directly from their eponymous DIY label, of the memorable Anglo-Scottish underground electronic duo James “darkfarmer” Taylor and David “brun” Brown under their SWAYZAK moniker. As the title of their mesmerizing 1998 classic debut album, “Snowboarding In Argentina”, suggests, the pair are still surfing the warm, chill-out, deep waves of tech-house, ambient, dub, minimal techno, deep house, and electro-pop with seamless ease.
