Acrìtive since 2017, besides being involved in labels, webzines, and event organization, SUBSTENCIA is a musician, producer and DJ based in Paris, creating dark industrial techno music productions, infused with a heap of cinematics, collages, and noise, with several EP’s, compilations and remixes under her belt, as well as part of post-industrial noise duo Kaboch, on labels as Instinkt, Coup, Subverted, Culture of Violence, Durch, Drec, Glanz + Elend, or Swedish label Kallkällan. Her highly personal and instinctive pure approach to a multi-faceted wide spectrum of industrial music, dark ambient, neofolk, 90’s techno and baroque music, provides a cinematic, organic and intense dimension to her DJ sets.
