This week, courtesy of Dundee‘s Public House series, Colombian dark electronic DJ/ producer Felipe Novoa, AKA Magnum Opus combines raw and aggressive electro body music with dark and sensuous electro-wave, peppered with plaintive industrial sheets, in less than an hour mix of sheer and edgy, as well as both dangerous yet thrilling emotions.

DIY Athens producer combines dark electro low ends and EBM charged taut mechanical techno rhythms, through oscillating buzzing bassline rumbles and pulses unremittingly fueled by steady hard-hitting slashing off-tempo beats along with tinny percussive patterns, haunted by dramatic glaring synth strains making for a striking edgy metallic infektion.

Amidst disturbing atmospheric pads, robotic metallic rhythms, bouncing obsessive basslines, and perforating frozen synths swirls, Athens based producer rolls out an ominous, alienating and numbing retro-futuristic electro mind-trip, while Colombian contingent of highly talented label affiliated producers add an extra heavy industrial dose of post-apocalyptic human doom and alienation.

Fellow Hungarian labels Dalmata Daniel, EXILES and Farbwechsel joined forces to kick off 2021 with a massive 43-track compilation spanning experimental and ambient compositions across industrial, electro and acid bangers, representing the contemporary techno sound of Budapest. Starting with veteran DJ/producer and Crisis Records founder, Imre Kiss with an atmospheric, stuttering, subtly acidic, bass-heavy, both taut and mesmeric electro affair.
