WL//WH is very pleased to Premiere the Music Video for the debut single “Morning Blue” from Australian new Indie Pop trio ‘The Huneez‘ based in Wollongong.
Channelling the shimmering, soulful propulsive groove of The Level 42, “Morning Blue” ignites snappy drum patterns with harsh and intense keyboard chords and spunky soulful female harmonies to elicit powerful and gripping sonic auras interspersed with calm, clear sparkles of enlightenment.
Repetitious lyrics reflect on feelings of conflict, sparking intrigue and drama between a new path of resistance and the familiar road to a spinning daze of malaise.
The vibrant video, directed, produced and edited by Chad Steele, displays green screen magic along with quick-change t-shirt artists in an ever-evolving wardrobe sequence embossed with mirror image logos in a dizzying array of neon-infused magnetism. Hypnotic moods alternate high energy, colourful performance with sweeping ocean views, to blend person and the virtual world of electronics into an intangible feeling lost in the ebb and flow of marginal tides.
