Fresh from releasing the twelfth studio album, “Superstition”, via their own labelMeshwork Music, X Marks the Pedwalk, the veteran German Electro-Pop duo based in Münster, made up of Sevren Ni-Arb (Synth, Computer, Programming, Vocals) and Estefanía (vocals), have shared their fourth stirring video for “Home Tonight.”
Hiding in the dissipating darkness lies a heavy alienating melancholy where relentless hypnotic rumbling bass lines, cut through by punching beats and emotive synth flows, slowly envelop haunted emotional vocals, longing to be taken home, with rolling, flashing, glowing streams of approaching hope.
Symbolic elements, mysterious shadows, and a thought-provoking, ethereal forest come alive under a full moon glow to sync seamlessly with the metaphysical arc of the soundtrack. An alternate dimension of enhanced perception immerses a lost soul with the warmth and protection of a guiding light amid the struggle and discomfort of facing one’s fear.
X Marks the Pedwalk‘s 12th full-length LP, “Superstition”, is available, via the band’s own Meshwork Music,
