Video Of The Day Utolsó Hullám
Utolsó Hullám, the four-piece Gothic Rockers from Budapest, Hungary, made up of Jakab (Motyó) Árpád (vocals, guitars), Némedi Tamás (guitar), Szegi, Csongor (bass), and Buda, Richárd (synth, drum machine), unveil an Official Music Video for “Resist”, taken from last May’s album “Csak Egy Világot Adhatok Neked.”
“Resist” unleashes heavy clanking, hard hitting drum beats that relentlessly crash and tumble, woven with ominous creeping, sonorous bass lines, to fuel obsessive, poignant stabs of wailing, blistering guitar melodies, with layers of bright melancholic swirling keyboards and air-lashing whips that equally hypnotize and terrorize restless, yearning male vocals, giving insight into the worldly things that can be used to enslave you through a lens of resistance.
In the Official Music Video, Utolsó Hullám performs “Resist” at a smokey live venue under jewel-toned lights. Interesting vintage movie clips of a ghostly train ride to Hell are paired with beautiful sunrise horizons and uplifting iconic imagery to seamlessly bring forth the spiritual energy of the soundtrack. A final message shows a gun, a black figure, and a clock.
