Most of you may remember Undertheskin, the Polish post-punk project that, since 2016, started making waves out of the DIY international underground dark music scene and onto the stages and Festivals across Europe with two acclaimed albums under its belt and thrilling shows with pillar acts such as The Soft Moon, Drab Majesty, Cold Cave, Soviet Soviet, Lebanon Hannover, to name a few.
However, it’s easy to fall into Undertheskin‘s intense fusion of Post-punk rawness, Cold Wave atmosphere, and hypnotic Synth sounds.
After a long hiatus, the band, masterminded by Mariusz Łuniewski, is slated to release the third studio album, “Never | Return”, on December 11, 2025, via Young & Cold Records, the follow-up to the 2019 LP “Negative”, heralded by an Official Video by Rytis Titas for the second excerpt, “Dance | Die”.

“Dance | Die”, a bleak, eerie and menacing club-ready number, propels forward with ominous glowing synths that swirl and weave through steady punchy beats, oscillating, buzzing bass lines, and shivering solemn bursts of haunting, glistening guitar stabs and frantic, agonising licks, while shadowy, frightened male vocals turn to emotional pain-filled urgency against a relentless cold, dark flow.
The visuals directed by Rytis Titas blend intimate shots of Jovita Łuniewska at home with a live music scene where Undertheskin performs “Dance | Die” while she dances in the audience. The strategic use of lights and shadows, the ecstatic high-energy release, and an underlying ghostly romantic tension sync seamlessly with the lyrical message, “You Can Dance, or You Can Die.”
Undertheskin‘s third studio album, “Never | Return”, will be released on December 11, 2025, via Young & Cold Records. Available on Ltd. splatter and black Vinyl 12″/digipack CD and Cassette Tape.
