Newcomer Liverpool, UK-based Cold Celtic Electronic duo, “Walking All Through the Night” with the Music Video directed by Emily Lomas for the debut single “In Shadows.”
Combining clattering Industrial rhythms and misty Cold Wave tones, to explore being stuck in a hypnotic cycle of painful memories, “In Shadows” fires up a lost, loosely undulating bass line, intermittently flickering with subtle twinges of desolation, amid crisp clanking, arrhythmic drum patterns, low heartbeat kicks, swooshing, twisted resonances and icy glowing synth drifts, to engulf dreamy yet piercing vocals, slowly fading in and out of emotional consciousness.
The visuals by Emily Lomas shuffle symbolic black-and-white imagery with urban landscapes and Those Holy performing “In Shadows”. Hi-def, overexposed ants and worms disjointedly crawl at supernatural speeds under a crafty editing hand to bring forth the haunting vibe of the soundtrack.
