WL//WH Video Of The Day: THEODOROS “Every Day I Die” (Official Video)

WL//WH Video Of The Day  THEODOROS

The first single and video from the self-titled album by THEODOROS, the solo project of THEODOROS DIMITRIOU, singer, composer, lyricist, and founding member of the band LEFKI SYMPHONIA, is out now.

Active since 1984, this legendary band has been a significant part of the independent rock scene in Greece. Now, one of its members returns dynamically as a solo artist. The “Symphony” has never ceased to exist, but the band has navigated through many challenges in wild waters, which, along with their extensive discography, has solidified their status as one of Greece’s musical legends.

The charismatic frontman, known for his unique voice and energetic, passionate performances, returns not just as the rock star but as a leader of the pack. Theodoros will always embody youth; he will always be a part of us, and he will ceaselessly sing about life and our inner thoughts.

Fully written, programmed and performed by THEODOROS,  “EVERY DAY I DIE” fuses Electro Punk drive, Darkwave moods, Post-punk lyricism and a splash of Psych introspection.

Dealing with death, rebirth, and the harsh realities of the world, the song carves pain-fueled obsessive guitar strains through a restless aura, underpinned by racing drum beats and thrumming basslines, to shift into echoing shards, dire loud serrated riffs and final searing shrieks, around haunted, angsty vocals, injecting slivers of fighting hope into a new horizon.

The Official Video by Melanie Merges-Dimitriou covers an intimate performance of Theodoros performing “Every Day I Die” with moody lyrics to evoke a sense of gloom and transformation. Imaginative editing fuses symbolic hues with thoughtful distortions and mirror imagery to bring forth the dark psychological introspection of the soundtrack.

Keep up with THEODOROS:
