WL//WH Video Of The Day: THE SICK MAN OF EUROPE “Transactional” (Official Video)

WL//WH Video Of The Day  THE SICK MAN OF EUROPE

The London, UK-based Kraut-fueled Post-Punk one-man band The Sick Man of Europe returns, building anticipation for the incoming June 20th release of his self-titled debut album, with a DIY Official Video, by Jamie Reeves himself, for the second excerpt, “Transactional,” via The Leaf Label.

A meditation on how the untethered advancement of technology is leaving us increasingly divided. Can true human connection be made in the face of these incoming waves?

A thought-provoking, strobelite, pent-up excursion perpetually propelled by the droning click-clacking of looping low-end impulses alongside hypnotic motorik beats, compels atmospheric vocals, counterpointed by subtly layers of tense, chrome plated guitar slivers and humming synth washes, to shift back and forth between dead spoken words and an elevated present awareness, to explore how fear leads to decreased freedom.

The DIY Official Video casts strobing red and blue dimensions over TSMOE and Bella Keery, as they perform “Transactional”, alone but together on split screens, seamlessly in sync with the soundtrack.

Album launch live performance 08 July at The George Tavern.

The Sick Man of Europe‘s eponymous debut album will be dropped on Limited Edition ‘Sanguine Red’ LP (400 Copies), black vinyl, CD + Bandcamp T-shirt bundle, on June 20th via The Leaf Label.

The TSMOE’s Album launch live performance will be hosted on 08 July at The George Tavern in London, with a slew of other dates to follow.
