The Ghost Aura is the up-and-coming London-based solo Dark Electronic project led by the Mexico-born underground female artist Atenas G. Influenced by Dark Wave, Coldwave and EBM, she explores the depths of the human mind and reflects on the shadows within to take listeners on a sonic journey into the realms of shadow and light, where raw emotion and industrial energy collide.

“We think we’re free, but are we? ‘Dominion’ dives into the idea that our minds can be the biggest prisons of all…shaped by fear, doubt, and the systems that sadly dictate our reality. This track is all about that unsettling realization: the world isn’t what it seems, and neither are we. But once the spell is broken, do we dare wake up?”
“Dominion” is a song about the hidden condition of human slavery wherein an outside force, the system, scientifically programs people, without their knowledge, to induce thought processes that will give them psychological control of the masses.
Intervals of ceremonial synth glows rise around a vibrant, kinetic rush of bouncing and thumping drum programming overlain with a flickering rumbling bass line menace, while a slew of suggestive effects, ominous sounds, and perilous melodies surround engaging, slightly distorted spoken word female vocals, layered with urgent echoes, secret whispers and, near the end, glorious angelic cries, with a relentless barrage of unexpected eerie frequencies.
In the DIY Official Video, you will see a closeup view of Atenas G. as she looks around nervously while deep jewel tone, inverse, and white lights strobe strategically atop her open eye, to sync seamlessly with the social engineering and predictive programming themes of the soundtrack. The dizzying camera work skews facial angles and constantly switches focal perspectives to create a dissociative state, while a geometric symbol seals the fate of darkness onto the mind’s eye.
