Video Of The Day THE DREAMTODAY
The Massachusetts Shoegaze five-piece led by Violet Nowak, teases the upcoming debut album, “We Won’t Survive the Comet”, with an Official Video directed, filmed and edited by Richard Johnson for the second single “Breathe”, featuring Gigi Greaves on Saxophone.
The band blends electrifying elements of Emo, Post-unk, Grunge, and Noise Rock into heavily reverberated Shoegaze textures, creating a dense, ethereal balance between melody and distortion.
A tumultuous, invigorating swoop of dense fuzzed-out guitar riffs, soothing dissonance, and hard-hitting, stumbling drums swirl with ringing, piercing intensity into a vibrant, immersive shimmery drift, layered with emotional sax lines, to submerge anxious, dreamy vocals, turning to ecstasy under a loud and bombastic, plummeting finale, springing forth a celestial spell.

The Official Video sets a sunny Alice in Wonderland-ish story starring Violet Nowak against a nocturnal, outdoor setting where the band plays “Breathe” under the full moon. The vision shifts between day and night with symbolic colors and ghostly visions taking hold until a phone call turns the world right side up. After a fearful chase and a fall, a bright white light shines from above in the dark sky, syncing seamlessly with the esoteric soundtrack.
