Veteran Spanish Synth Wave duo Stereoskop, made up of Alex Brujas aka Lexvaz (Guitars, Synths & Drums) and Susana Egea (Vocals & Synths), have dropped the cyber-romantic new track “Hazel Eyes”, the second single taken from their forthcoming full-length LP, “Silk”, due out on April 1, 2022, via Reptile Records.

The band are breaking fresh ground with their sixth album,

combining analogue synthwave rhythms with atmospheric guitars, shimmering dreampop sounds and ubiquitous 80s spirits.

A love song inspired by Sci-Fi and Romantic literature of the 18th-century broods in hopeless memories and future desires for another’s “Hazel Eyes.”

Cool, fantastic spacey sheens roll magnetic melodies around aching forlorn female vocals longing in helpless harmonies through an intoxicating web of organic reverb-dusted sparkling guitar strings, warbly mechanical bass undulations and hypnotic dancing snare beats, to draw afflictive feelings of yearning, fear, and isolation from the cold unsettled moods of unseen destiny.

The accompanying modern dystopic visuals use the real-time virtual production of “Unreal Engine” to construct a Cyber-futuristic world encircling an evocative rooftop performance. Hypnotic skylines cast dim green, desolate, and sterile atmospheres around disconnected confessions to invoke eerie ghost-like energies from the emotional warmth and depth of Stereoskop’s set, scrolling in synchronized mesmerism with the ominous melancholy of the soundtrack.
