Fresh from the affiliation with Franfurt Am Main independent label Cold Transmission Music, the Hamburg-based Darkwave duo SIIE drop a DIY Official Music Video for “Grand Virage,” the first single taken from SIIE’s debut album “Acmé,” scheduled for release oin April 2025.
Emerged in 2021, the enigmatic Swiss-German act blends Darkwave, Techno, and EBM into a distinctive and atmospheric sound. With French lyrics at its core, their music explores themes of dystopia, human emotion, and the rhythms of daily life, crafting a sonic universe that feels both familiar and otherworldly.

“Grand Visage | Big Bend” sheds light on an often unseen psychological vision that is not rooted in the present reality, but in the dreams, perceptions, and memories being projected from within.
Dark psychological moods imbue glittering oscillating icy loops cut through by lashing snare drums and menacing buzzing low ends, to instill aching tinkly swells of misty distortion over emotional French spoken vocals, shifting between restless anxiety and doomy obsession, shrouded in a ghostly haze of painful chilly resonances.
A mysterious DIY Official Music Video of SIIE performing “Grand Virage” under hypnotic graphic filters sourced from vecteezy.com syncs with the heady vibe of the soundtrack. With their faces hidden under elegant reflective masks, a duo, wearing male and female formal wear, makes symbolic gestures while overlays shift from mesmeric spirals to radiant sunbeams, depth defying star fields and wavy camouflage, bringing to life the mirage-like perception mentioned in the lyrics.
