What began in the early stages of the 2020 pandemic as the Dark Electronic solo project of Bamberg, Northern Bavaria-based musician, singer, lyricist, producer, and composer Peter Grimm, has evolved into an established trio defined by an EBM-charged Darkwave/Post-punk sound, sitting somewhere between the influences of DAF and Depeche Mode, with a new album, titled “Wandel”, on the near horizon.

“Gold” explores the extremely negative outcome on a society when money is all that matters.
An urgent relentless drive of crispy thumping drum beats and murky throbbing basslines fuel a vibrant string of warped glaring synth stabs and obsessive bleeding melancholic guitar melodies, ringing icily around haunted, distressed vocals, releasing strained anxiety with subtle screaming echoes, to fall desperately through rising ceremonial glows of pain-fueled intoxication.
Cinematic black and white visuals by Peter Grimm star bandmates Moritz Fris and Nicolas Frank, as two well-dressed men in pig masks, to symbolically sync with the psychological implications of the soundtrack. The night begins with a lavish raw meat dinner before excessive alcohol and drug binging during high stakes gambling. After some out-of-control street shenanigans, the duo can be seen sleeping, wasted, with their clothes still on.
