WL//WH Video Of The Day: PLAYA ESPECTRAL “Polaridad” (Official Video)

WL//WH Video Of The Day   Playa Espectral

Playa Espectral is an Electronic transoceanic duo riding between Montreal and Madrid made of  Ángel Hernández Tuset (Vocals, Keyboards, Programming) and Marco Torremocha (Programming, Keyboards, Guitars, Vocals) delivering cold and moody hypnotic Synth-Punk sound with an aim to play ‘Polarized Music for those who remain in the shadows with surrealistic images of a wild dream.’  Check out their latest video with footage by Lior Sadeh edited by Pilatus, for the new single “Polaridad” via Polypiel Records, which still features the departed third member Esteban Hernáez on guitar.

“Polaridad” is a song about having the heavy burdens of life lifted from one’s shoulders, by holding the hand of light and letting it charge you with positive energy.

Taking a leap of faith into the unknown, “Polaridad” sparks off mechanical thumping snare beats and gloomy jerky bass pulses, swept by waves of obsessive ringing guitars and icy shivering synth expansions, to carry passionate layers of radiating spoken words into triumphant cries along with bright blowing keys, despite weak intervals of gloomy baritone doubt.

An animated Official Video by Pilatus begins with Playa Espectral portrayed as white light beings, performing “Polaridad” in front of a heap of useless trash. Then, they go inside a malfunctioning car engine and attempt to repair it before dancing on the top of skyscrapers with glee. By the end of the colorful and symbolic vision, they jam out by the seaside, leaving all the junk of the past behind.
