“Luxe Parfait” arrays a dense claustrophobic aura built by steady pounding beats, punctuated by sparse crisp rolling percussions, unceasingly bouncy humming basslines, wistful tinkling and echoing synth keys along icy prickling sad guitar melodies, to weigh down haunting vocal layers of distant aching cries, heavy drowsy breathes, and traumatized echoes, with the bittersweet feeling of being free from the burden of another’s toxic pain.
Thought-provoking surreal visions cast in muted grey neon hues merge, lost wandering footpaths with hazy introspective seashores, and blurry shapes and symbols to sync seamlessly with the alternate reality vibes of the soundtrack. An array of imaginative editing techniques cause creepy, shadows, blurry liquid effects, and fragmented filters to shapeshift perception around seemingly random, found items of cathartic insight.
