Dynamic and transformative, the song sweeps over with heady energy driven by a subtly grumbling, humming bass line that throbs unremittingly along with steady urgent drum beats under a lush, dazzling, vibrant tapestry of rising shimmering guitar resonances, and swirling emotive synth breezes, while Maud’s soft wistful, colorful vocals radiate encouragement to a friend who is going through a tough time.
In the DIY video, Maud Anyways performs “Talk To Me” in a dreamy sunny cloud while a dramatic story, that syncs seamlessly with the soundtrack and lyrics, unfolds. A blurry neon city at night sets the dystopic backdrop for a young girl as she sits distressed, crying in a bathtub, while Maud, from a surreal sun-stained dimension, attempts to send help.
