WL//WH Video Of The Day: LOVE IN PRAGUE “Mysteries” (Official Video)

Video Of The Day  Love In Prague

After almost three years since the full-length “The Same Place”, Love In Prague, the longstanding French Coldwave duo made of Benoît GERARD and Chloé PRAHA, return with an Official Video, directed by MS333 MOVIES & SOUNDS, for the new song “Mysteries”, to announce Love In Prague’s long anticipated fifth studio album “In My World” due to be released on Friday, 25th of  April via Off World Music.

As always, the band pinpoints a refined sweet spot between hazy, shimmery Shoegaze atmospherics and sensitive Coldwave melancholy to stir up lush emotional auras woven with obsessive sharp ringing poignant guitars, layered by anxious and melancholic enveloping synth glows, raining and weeping over speedy marching beats alongside humming, meandering post-punk bass lines, while wistful, heartfelt vocals switch between angst and doom laden moods.

A really imaginative, frightening, and soul-stirring animated Official Video directed by MS333 MOVIES & SOUNDS sets a run down old mansion as the backdrop for a story about a woman in black who faces trauma in the mirror whilst Love In Prague performs “Mysteries.” There are a lot of horror effects, such as disintegrating shadowy fogs, abused dolls, decaying bodies, and transparent overlays of screaming reflections to get lost in. But don’t worry, the vision also has pictures and musical clips of Benoît and Chloé to bring you back to the present time period if the memories get too dark.

Keep up with Love in Prague:
