WL//WH Video Of The Day: LENY MÜH “Coup de Blues | The Blues”

Video Of The Day  LENY MÜH

French queer artist from Toulouse, Leny MÜH, blends seductive brooding Chanson Française and wistful enveloping Coldwave in the stirring video for the psychological track “Coup de Blues | The Blues”, taken from last year’s debut 10-track album “CAPHARNAÜM”, via independent label Hidden Bay Records.

“Coup de Blues” draws from a deep well of unsettled emotions to weave sad, glistening guitar strains through a beautifully evocative vocal brood of tragic heartfelt aching, whilst hypnotic drum beats, fluttering echoes, atmospheric lonesome synth swathes, and a dragging bleak bassline, coalesce into an immersive outpouring of agony, flowing hopeless into pain-filled tears of disappearing memories.

The dramatic DIY black and white video, starring Pierre Poitier and Christopher Chevanas, evokes second thoughts, lonely longings, and murky melancholy from dim-lit flashbacks of lost love and secret fantasy. A disenchanted Romance casts shadows of doubt over a dreamy barroom scenario where intimate eye contact, fragile fear, and helpless desire set the stage for a poetic, lyrical confession wept in the confusing afterthoughts of an impassioned one-night stand.

Leny MÜH‘s debut album “CAPHARNAÜM”, is available in Limited Edition 12″ Vinyl through the Hidden Bay Records Bandcamp.
