WL//WH Video Of The Day: LEHANS “Frío En Mi Corazón”

Video Of The Day LEHANS

Just less than a decade after releasing his second EP, “Amparo,” on the DIY Breton label beko disques, the Chilean hypnagogic pop /synth-pop producer and composer Cristóbal Garcia, known as Lehans, returns on the label that took the beko legacy, Too Good To Be True, with an upcoming seven-track album, “Ducal,” scheduled for July 24th., heralded by a music video by Felipe Mardones (director, producer, editor), and Benja Yunge (editing, color) for the first single, “FRÍO EN MI CORAZÓN.”

Viña del Mar artist plays a lush, reverb-soaked, soulful and danceable Synth-Pop, rife with an oneiric, blissed-out chillwave/dreampop feel, suspended in an encompassing state of nostalgia and yearning.

“FRÍO EN MI CORAZÓN” unfolds punchy snares and a creeping, crisp percussive low-end arpeggio to lay a vibrant, groovy foundation for a warm, reflective sheen, cast by choked funky strummed guitars, glassy synth glows and slightly buzzy, chiming flickers that swirl wistfully around layers of aching lovelorn vocals and biting whispers.

Intimate visuals, by Felipe Mardones, shot in the historic tourist town of Quebrada Escobares, located in the Valparaiso Region of Chile, show Cristóbal García sitting on the floor of a house engaging in the intricate process of creating music. In between writing and experimenting with the guitar and keyboard, he takes a ride on a motorcycle to the lakeside. Once there, he restlessly waits before turning away from the water with an upset, worried look in his eyes. It would seem as if he did not find the warmth for his heart that he was searching for.

Lehans‘ upcoming seven-track album, “Ducal,” will be released (ltd. CD & Digital) on July 24, 2026 via Too Good To Be True.

Keep up with Lehans:
