Turkish Goth /Dark Wave musician Kenan Beykont draws from 80s Dark Post-punk gloomy emotional introspection and 90s Death-Doom Metal angsty heaviness to deliver a heady and haunting DIY video/song “Sonbahar | Autumn” taken from the recently released debut EP “Taedium Vitae.”
Relentlessly slow, skipping beats drive sinister obsessed auras stirred by the enveloping ceremonial rise of warm icy bright dramatic synth wafts, amid organically bleak pulsing basslines and ominous buzzing tones, interspersed by uncanny key flourishes and tinkling stabs, to arouse cursed and agonized breaths brimming with dreadful drifts of ghostly despair.
Twilight textures and keen editing evoke ancient unease from the tenebrous beauty of nature to merge past and present timelines of manipulated fate. Creepy shadows frame a star cast countryside, where supernatural silhouettes dance in an eternal loop of unseen sleep, conjuring memories of superstition and mythology from the collective subconscious of fear, whilst universal symbols connect broken paths of awareness to illuminate the mind’s eye with modern schemes of mind control.
