Dundalk, Ireland 5-piece Just Mustard, blending elements of shoegaze, noise-rock and trip-hop, give rise to an intriguing and dense, but at the same time very refined and distinctive sound, I was hooked from the first listen.
“Pigs”, the second single to be taken from the forthcoming debut album ‘Wednesday’, due out May 2, 2018 on vinyl via the DIY local Pizza Pizza Records, is an introspective journey between uncanny and immersive darkly sounds, hypnotic rhythms and dreamlike yet menacing atmospheres interspersed with iridescent and lacerating glimpse of noise, the anxious and evocative guitars, the metallic obsessive bass and syncopated drums really create a perfect ambience for the hauntingly beautiful vocals to become a sensual at the same time spooky enchantment.
Once again an impressive and captivating introduction to the album.
