In anticipation of an incoming work-in-progress 2025 European Live Tour, check out the first dates below, Jesus Lives In Vegas, the Nancy-based, French Coldwave band led by Christophe Lacroix (guitars, bass, keyboards, programming, all vocals and backing vocals), drops an Official Music Video for “Lovin’ You”, the first track on last year’s debut LP “Joy or Sorrow”, via Masse Noire Records and Meidosem Records.
A dark psychological soundscape, grounded by cold, sonorous, rapid bass pulses and mechanical drum beats, alternates chiming, John McGeoch-esque guitar chords with sad distorted synth swells, to surround restless impassioned vocals with the dire helpless feeling of watching a loved one run away.
The DIY Official Music Video stars Manoë Tricot as a woman who chases her shadow into an uncertain destiny. A beautiful hillside panorama at sunset becomes the backdrop for some deep introspection and carefree dancing by the troubled beauty while Christophe Lacroix plays “Lovin’ You” unto a symbolic bonfire.
Jesus Lives In Vegas‘ first studio album, “Joy or Sorrow”, is out, in Vinyl 12″ /CD and Cassette formats, via Masse Noire Records and Meidosem Records.
