Toronto‘s shoegaze / dreampop five-pieces Indoor Voices, started as the bedroom pop brainchild of musician Jonathan Relph in the early 2000’s, are back with a new preview from their upcoming EP “Gaslight Ephemera”.
“You’re My” introduce us into the band’s world made of shadows and rays of light, sadness and glimpses of joy; a warm, dense and evanescent juxtapositions of sound elements made of reverb-saturated guitar-scapes, filling synths and mesmerizing double male/female vocals, to create an introspective journey, at times relaxing, velvety and narcotic, full of psychedelic nuances, in a continuous fascinating succession of ecstatic and liquid emotions that slowly expand in imaginative waves of a true spiritual trance, giving us a overwhelming sense of purity and beauty.
