Incirrina, the Athens-based dark and cold analog Synth-driven duo made of Irini Tini (synthesizers, vocals), and George Katsanos (synthesizers, drum machine, vocals), drops an Official Video by Alexis Falantas and Fani Maria for “Mutate”, the new single taken from the forthcoming third album “TRACE”, due out on May 29, 2026, via Cold Transmission.
“Mutate” is a celebration of self expression, the overcoming of conformity, and the playful search for personal and social identity,
The song bursts with a galloping rush of skittering bass lines, together with steady charging beats, lashed with resonant whacks, and joined by ominously hissing, shift to excited swirls of glowing synths that swell and radiate with epic expressive vibrancy atop thrill-inducing, teasing female vocals, bewitching with blazing layers of high and low transformative frequencies.
The Official Video, directed and filmed by Alexis Falantas (Editing, Color Grading, Lighting Design) and Fani Maria Chatzi (Costumes, Set Design, Makeup), stars Dimitris Petimezas, Magda, Tritt, Vangelis Athanassopoulos, Evangelia Kafetzopoulou Sarli, and Fivos Katsifloros as a group of co-workers who dive into a nighttime exploration of individuality and uniqueness. On the first day of work in a busy office, a man watches the others and feels nervous about fitting in. Later on, he goes to the IHOTROPIO conservatory where Incirinna gives an evocative performance of “Mutate” under Anna Lambrinakou’s dissociative strobe lighting.
Incirrina‘s upcoming third album, “TRACE”, will be released, in Vinyl/CD & Cassette formats, on May 29, 2026, via Cold Transmission.
