Cold, majestic and eerie Dark Wave airs coalesce warped icy bright synth melodies, urgent, buzzing, throbbing bass tones, and hypnotic, dancing beats around a ghostly layering of shivering female emotions and haunted celestial cries to infuse pain-filled laments of desperation and fear into a sinister horizon of lost, menacing doom.
Dramatic video bends time between four friends (Alexia, Irini Koutroumanou, Magda, and Sonia Perlegka) as a journey through the city streets leads to more questions than answers in an intriguing supernatural mystery. An enigmatic photograph guides four bewitched souls through an urban maze of graffiti, shadows, and split-screen effects, to invoke a sinister warlock whose magic cube casts a deceptive timeline of isolation, alienation, and dread.
The 10-track LP addresses global themes of modern dystopic chaos, injustice, and biopolitics set against a collapsing socio-economic world of helplessness and fear, and is scheduled for release, on Ltd. 12″ Vinyl /CD /Cassette & Digital formats, on August 19, 2022, via Cold Transmission Music.
