IAMTHESHADOW is the Dark Wave one man band project of the Portuguese musician Pedro Code (The Dream Collision and Rainy Days Factory) started in 2015.

Part of the last excellent miniLP ‘All Our Demons’, ‘This Violence’ is typical of his evolved and improved, more full-bodied and complex, dark sound, perfectly blends effective and profound melodic synth lines and obscurely intensive danceable rhythms, an explosive gloomy mix particularly rich in groove, introspection and emotional tension where Pedro’s intense and captivating voice pours out his own inner demons

The meeting with the Trondheim/Brighton cold wavers Karl Morten Dahl (aka Antipole) and Paris Alexander, with their distinctive Mancunian hypnotic entwined guitar leads, provide an even more organic and addictive connotation, adding glimpses of light and melancholic feel, sinuously dancing closely “under a pale harvest moon”.
