Video Of The Day IAMNOONE
Italian Cold Wave / Occult Wave duo Philippe Marlat and Stephan Seth, AKA Iamnoone, drops an official video for “Thunder” from the freshly released 6-track EP, “Melancholia”, via Cold Transmission Music, featuring a collection of songs that did not make it onto last year’s LP “The Joy of Sorrow”.
“Thunder” talks about how a person, who never fits in and feels invisible, spreads their unbelievably bright inner light through the darkness to ignite hope and strength in another.
An up-beat Synth-Pop song that gets under the skin with its romantic elegance and spellbinding, stirring melodies, driven by wabbling sonorous bass throbs along with steady marching and clapped programmed beats, surrounded by soft glowing spirals of melancholy laced with hypnotic vibrant lines of tinkling synth stabs, to uplift passionate male vocals and secret whispers into soaring heartfelt devotions.
The official video begins with an inspiring statement, ‘Every man and every woman is a star,’ before iamnoone gives an intense, sincere performance of “Thunder” inside black-and-white photo frames. Crafty editing techniques sporadically use blurry trace overlays and a jittery focus to create a sense of awakening full of clarity and purpose. The vision ends with the words ‘be unique,’ giving the viewers and listeners further words of wisdom to cherish.
Iamnoone’s new album “Melancholia” is out now, on Digital and, one hundred only, ltd. CD in a special hand-printed black cardboard cover – hand-numbered and signed by the band, via Cold Transmission Music.Keep up with Iamnoone:
