Video Of The Day IAMNOONE
We are not prone to feature the same band in a short span of time, but the Italian ‘Occult Wave’ duo, Iamnoone, made of Philippe Marlat (vocals, baritone guitar and synth) and Stephan Seth (bass, backing vocals and synth), never disappoints, and the recent collaboration with the Athenian eclectic dance electronic producer and labelmate Kay-Chi on synths and electronics, provides the right ’80s club feel.

So let’s jump “Into The Void” with the new second single and paired audiovisual to build anticipation for the forthcoming Iamnoone studio album, “Gloomy Days”, as usual via Cold Transmission Music.

The propulsive, both clattering and droning interaction of crisp, punchy marching beats, alongside sonorous chugging bass lines, stacks steadily under an icy, luminous swirling emergence of stabbing, sparkly bittersweet synth melodies and immersive, wistful cosmic pads to pull steadfast, tense male vocals, anxiously slipping and falling, “Into The Void.”
The DIY Official Video explores memories of youth, missed opportunities, broken promises, vices, and summer loneliness, amongst other things, through the lens of computer-generated subliminal overlays. Iamnoone each sits in a separate chair, dressed in their signature attire, against a matching black backdrop. Lyrics for “Into the Void” appear using an old green 32 GB language while thought-provoking imagery of vintage technology computes in sync with the electronic nuances of the soundtrack.
Keep up with Iamnoone:
