Video Of The Day I CAN FLY
Mexico City’s five-piece Post Punk Revivalists, I Can Fly, rise from the hazy nights of Mexico’s capital city with a renewed flow of hope to drop an evocative video by Oscar Iván Cabanzo for the stirring new single “Lost In Space.”
“Lost In Space” transcends modern dystopic madness with sinuous restless bassline throbs, merry twinkling guitar melodies, shimmery, quivering ghostly synth auras, peppy drum beats, and heartfelt vocals, exploring solitary isolation of fear through the cosmic lens of deep space stars evoking regretful, missed memories amid distorted bursts and glistening nostalgia.
Invigorating black and white video, shot on location at Mexico City‘s Foro Bizarro on 16th of October 2021 by Oscar Iván Cabanzo, captures the long-lost enthusiasm and bonding experience of a live music show. Endless lines under the blurry bulbs of an urban skyline ignite the mind’s eye of desire and passion as lively sound checks and Psychedelic backdrops stir fans’ souls with sentient vibes. Groovy punk fashion, inlaid skull statuary, and energetic dancing invoke the spirits of friendship, sharing, and tension release whilst candid poses, hand signals, and beaming smiles emerge from the lonely moods of yesterday into a collective rebirth of destiny.
