WL//WH Track Of The Day: GLASSZONE “Architecture of Life”

Track Of The Day  Glasszone

Some rightly might argue that I’m a sucker for a certain kind of sound, I could listen to tons of post-punk, shoegaze, jangle and dark/industrial electronics… I just can’t get enough of them.

I can overlook the lack of originality these days, I got used to it, the most important thing for me remains the songwriting consistency and quality and its inner authenticity.

This is the case of the French coldwave / post-punk solo project from Orleans, called Glasszone and his recently released brilliant 6-track mini-album titled “Architecture of Life”.

One of its unreleased songs is the amazing title track, driven by those beguiling melodic distinctive bass lines that inexorably enraptured me, supported by a neat drum machine, a somber haze of guitar reverb and mournful vocals, suggesting an impending gloomy sense of emptiness, sadness and melancholy that will leave you deeply emotionally involved and intrigued.

Check out the wicked video by the usual Piperbrigadista and the Glasszone debut interspersed with no less addictive little cold gems.

Keep up with Glasszone:
