False Figure, the Oakland, California-based Post Punk outfit led by Andrés Ruiz (Vox, Guitars, Drum programming, Keys), along with Kevin Defranco (Guitars), and Kienan Hamilton (Bass Guitar), and Aimee Schott (Drums), delivers a music video, shot by Karlos Marx and edited by Andrés Ruiz, for “Flowers In Bloom”, the fourth and last excerpt from the forthcoming third full-length LP, “INCARNATE”, due out on February 17, 2026 via the band’s own DIY label Cruel Subordination Records.

A sparkling gust of captivating, passionate guitar-driven post-punk brilliance, swept in 80s bittersweet romantic angst, the song ignites sad, shimmering anthemic guitars that softly blare over restless, nostalgic vocals, aching and longing, while soaring emotionally atop an urgent foundation of punchy, propulsive drum beats and meandering bass lines, to resonate with “And from my barren garden, Watch your flowers in bloom.”
The paired visuals, shot by Karlos Marx and edited by Andrés Ruiz himself, feature False Figure performing “Flowers In Bloom” under soft, pastel lights, evoking a blurry sense of dreaminess and disconnection in sync with the soundtrack.
False Figure ‘incarnates’ a rich, timeless quality songwriting, combined with an in-depth fondness for the current alternative music scene, nearly flawless in the balance of every instrumental part, which exudes an earnest sense of integrity and reinvention.
False Figure‘s forthcoming third album, “INCARNATE,” will be released on ltd. colored marble Vinyl 12″ edition and Digital via the band’s own label Cruel Subordination Records.
Keep up with False Figure:
