After last year very promising debut EP ‘Reflections’ and a 7″ single before the summer, the Swedish four-piece from Stockholm, Dead Vibrations are back to confirm all that’s good they had previously shown.
The explosive first taste ‘Chemical Hug’ , already previewed few days ago in a live studio session, from the band’s forthcoming self-titled debut full length, out next January on Fuzz Club, a label’s not often wrong, is another inspirational blend of psychedelic fuzzy reverb-drenched guitars and hazy gloomy dreamlike atmospheres, a rich and compelling balance between the JAMC feedback obsessions, the melodic reverberated shoegaze echoes of MBV and the lisergic aspirations of the early Verve.
Let yourself feel overwhelmed by their ‘chemical hug’, just keep closing your eyes and dream.
Keep up with Dead Vibrations :
