Dead Lights, the London-based glam-goth duo of musicians and producers Saul (UK) and Richard (NL), blends Industrial flair and cutting-edge Electronic sound design into their latest electrifying single, “Resonate”, via Dark Tunes Music Group, accompanied by a buzzing Official Video.

Once a piece of music is recorded, it detaches itself from the artists who made it and exists apart from them. You’re not listening to an artist, it’s something else entirely; you’re listening to a sonic phantom. It’s an echo of someone’s passion and intent. It’s the ghost of an artist’s voice. It’s a little slice of what was someone’s soul, torn out, separated, and trapped forever in immortal waveforms. Waveforms that flow into you, move you, connect with you, morph and mold to your whims, interpretations and emotions. The music reverberates inside you and gains its own life. It resonates.

“Resonate” is about an inner battle between good and evil, building a jittery cyber electro storm, grounded by a crackling and clattering rhythmic floor of snappy, lashing broken beats, resonant sputtering kicks and rumbling gritty low ends, to pulse and emit menacing buzzing mists around dual vocals, dancing with fear, angst, terror, and thrills under a thundering squall of turbulent winds, sinister strains, and sweeping ghostly shadows.

The Official Video shows Dead Lights performing “Resonate” under symbolic black and white editing to sync with the duality of the soundtrack. Half of the pair wears dramatic contact lenses and claw-like gloves whilst pulling the other under inverted lights to bring forth an alluring sense of temptation and struggle at the hands of demonic possession.
