Polish electronic duo Bluefaces blends ’80s inspired elements of Synth Pop, Synth Wave, and Post-Punk into an intoxicating and danceable brew of “Nostalja” for their surreal video created by Rafał Wiśniewsk. The band’s first 10-track full-length album, also named “Nostalja,” will be available on December 14, 2021, via all the major music platforms.

A colourful, bittersweet, and dramatic fusion of urgent punchy beats, gloomy serpentine bassline pulses, frenetic glistening and chiming metallic strewn spirals, and wistfully poignant brass-like blow, carry dreamy-sad romantic longings and heartfelt croons of lonesome “Nostalgia”, through an illuminating constellation of bright bursting anxieties and frozen subconscious fears.

Intimate, video by Rafał Wiśniewsk, deftly captures the lyrical content by depicting a surreal personal experience during a carefree outdoor party scene. Slow-motion editing allows the observer to travel back when preconceived notions and social interactions were less traumatized by the outside world. Somber facial expressions and deep tinted hues amid misty, old-school atmospheres draw focus to the discomforting mindset of today’s disconnection while evoking the warm feelings of walking down memory lane.
