Black Rose Moves, the Birmingham, UK-based Post Punk/Dark Wave duo of Grant Leon and Mark Neat, returns to WL//WH with a Music Video for “Lips Taste Blood”, the opening track from the debut EP “Death Dance”, “an invitation to explore a mesmerizing escape, a journey through moonlit alleys and hidden dance floors”, scheduled for release this Friday, June 13, 2025 via Earache Records.
Cloaked in a catharsis of shadows and lust, the sensual Gothic Romance of “Lips Taste Blood”, suffused with vampiric suggestions, compels chunky throbbing bass lines along with clattering, tumbling drum beats under rousing, achingly passionate vocals, obsessively stabbed by sinister spiderwebbed guitars that bleed painful longing.
In The Official Video, Black Rose Moves sings “Lips Taste Blood” in front of a panther mural while a gothic bride, clad in a leather harness, combat boots, and a lock chain necklace, strikes seductive poses with her mate, perfectly mirroring the mystery, animalism, and dark fascination of the soundtrack.
Black Rose Moves‘s debut EP, “Death Dance”, will be released in CD & digital formats on June 13, 2025, via Earache Records.
