Following last June’s RPG, Adventure game soundtrack for “CASTLE GREYROT”, Turkish Gothic /Dark Wave one-woman band Bewitched as Dark drops a heady subliminal video for the disturbing psychological track “Curse of Darkness”, rife with her distinctive, intoxicating dark electronic sound.
Dark fantasy lyrics confess an inescapable torment, hiding deep inside a tortured soul, whose shadow-self perception waits desperately to destroy the host from within.
An icy and bewitching concoction of cold ghostly synth swathes, shivering sinister stabs, slashing marching beats, and swarming distorted strains coalesce over the incurable traumatic pain of lost female vocals, slowly swirling and surging in toxic frequencies, to evoke claustrophobic anxiety from a cursed, haunted heart.
Abstract flashing light sequences transmit mind-altering dimensions into the mind’s eye of hypnosis whilst computer-generated shapes and symbols swirl in frenetic cycles to open brainwave portals of subliminal suggestions. High flicker rates strobe, rotate, and shift into kaleidoscopic lenses of dread, tuning shadowy darkness, with calculated precision, into hidden thought forms in sync with ominous, creeping vibes of the soundtrack.
