Bedless Bones is the moniker of Kadri Sammel, an independent alternative electronic music artist from Tallinn, Estonia, also half of the industrial, darkwave duo Forgotten Sunrise.
I missed her atmospheric debut single “True Devotion” released last year and just this morning, thanks to a hint from the Bosporus, I jumped at it.
Running along the boundaries between darkwave, noir electro-pop, goth and industrial, her second “Where Is My Voice” is an enthralling and intriguing release, built on tense and hypnotic electronic pulses, mesmerising and metallic beats and menacing synths. Kadri‘s impressive haunted, distraught and broken vocals set an intense and dramatic mood, conveying all her torment and desolation at not being able to forgo past heartache.
