WL//WH Video Of The Day bArddd
bArddd is an alternative music project from Bandung, Indonesia, consisting of vocalist/guitarist & producer M. Iqbal (of the group ikkubaru), along with guitarist Ghilang Prassetya Wiraga and bassist M. M. Hadi.
The three-piece drops a Music Video, by barddd and Azka, for the second single “Hujan | Rain”, building anticipation for the band’s debut album, scheduled for 2026 via Lisdia Records.
Through an electrifying and emotionally ridden blur of Shoegaze, Dream Pop, and Indie Pop, bArddd explores atmospheric and cinematic soundscapes rife with reverb that seamlessly wander under sunny skies and autumnal drizzles, shrouded in a veil of nostalgia and introspective lyricism with infectious bittersweet melodies that seep into the earstream with expressive spontaneity.
Warm poetic vibes breeze over hazy waves of light guitar distortion, woven with anxious, wistful, passionate melodies, underpinned by lively mid-tempo drum beats and warm pulsing bass lines, to encapsulate dreamy male vocals with swirling and ringing reflective energy.
In the Music Video bArddd performs “Hujan” under grainy liquid filters with bold Indonesian lyrics to sync with the introspective sentiments of the soundtrack. Rows of electric guitars, effect pedals, and software displays frame the band while their fingers, seemingly like magic, deftly orchestrate the stringed instruments into immersive, emotional sounds.
