Amrou Kithkin are a Polish two-piece ethereal wave/synthgaze act based in Kielce/Łódź, comprised of former Excuse Me?! member Bartek G. Wrona and Piotrek Rzodkiewicz. who released, last October, their third 4-track EP “Lamentations”.
‘Extortist’, a dense, hypnotic and atmospheric song, built on piercing guitar chords, all-encompassing low-end synths notes and gloomy vocals, carry us into an arcane and haunting supernatural soundscape, perfectly paired with the flow of the thoughtful visuals that seems influenced by Andrei Tarkovsky’s film aesthetic, where the elements of nature, river, trees, river, sky, provide a place of solace for emotional pains and distress.
A little sublime cold ethereal gem that will not leave you indifferent, but will touch even the more detached heart.
