Video Of The Day Adam Usi
In anticipation of the release of the 9-track album, “Void Exposure”, due out on September 15th, via Young & Cold Records, Adam Usi, the German Minimal Electro Wave artist from Augsburg, drops an Official Video by by Florian Poschenrieder for the fourth excerpt “Circus”, a song about feeling alone and fearful in a world where nobody listens and everyone always wants more despite having already taken as much as they can get.
The emotially-ridden “Circus” instils a deep sense of melancholy and tragedy that floats on the brim of lonely shivering synth drifts, ceaselessly churned by steady skipping drum beats and droning squelchy sequenced bass loops, layered with anxiously forlorn, glowing strains, haunting, introspective melodies, glassy warbling whirls, and arrays of whispering, laughing, and screaming self-projected echoes, tormenting passionate, sorrowful vocals with relentless menace.
The Official Video by Florian Poschenrieder (Vanity Art Photography) is a heady cinematic thriller starring Adam Usi as a desperate man in black who is predatorized by Caesar, a sinister woman in white. The thoughtful use of symbolism, lights and shadows, psychological drama, and make-up and styling by Nicole Schröder (Pixlercat) creates an eerie foreboding that crescendos seamlessly with the disturbing finale of the soundtrack.
Adam Usi‘s forthcoming new studio album, “Void Exposure”, is scheduled for release, in ltd. blue-curacao Vinyl 12″ edition & Digital, on September 15th, via Young and Cold Records.
