Veteran Dark Synth Pop four-piece from Dresden, Germany, made up of Stefan Grossman (vocals, lyrics, musik, artwork), Tilo Ladwig (keyboards), Toralf Nikisch (vocals, keyboards, musik, lyrics), and Timo Fischer (drums), return after a 3 year hiatus, since the band’s 2020 seventh LP “Sapta”, with the first single and title track, “Gravitas”, along with its Official Music Video by Stefan Großmann, taken from the forthcoming album, “Gravitas”, scheduled for release on November 24, 2023, via Dark Dimensions Label Group.
“Gravitas” injects dark dramatic cyber charged moods into warm swirling cinematics, ominous crisp and thundering beats, droning bass lines, and an array of distorted vocalizations, ranging from menacing vocoded robotic to baritone broods, sinister echoes, and growling haloes, to flow fearfully through alarming outflows of sci-fi Apocalypse doom.
Surreal black and white visuals by Stefan Großmann blend a thought-provoking Martian landscape with intimate close-ups and brutal, suggestive cut scenes to sync seamlessly with the epic struggle of the soundtrack. Immersive outer space visions, a zero gravity backdrop, and archetypal symbols open subconscious portals to mystery worlds where ancient lore and unseen forces spark the imagination with Sci-Fi curiosity and awe.
