WL//WH Track Of The Day ULTRASATURATED
In a weekend where the now ritual release of Spirit Goth Records has taken a deserved vacation, even if compensated by the mesmerizing lo-fi pop of Bleach on the affiliated net imprint Birthdiy, the void has been filled somehow by the new single, titled “Luna”, from the Italian Shoegazey-tinged Dream Pop three-piece ultrasaturated, certainly not out of place in the aforementioned label roster, perfect fit for our days of summer end nostalgia where gloomy vibes and sunshine rays collide.
A compelling twinkling and reflective vision of Dream Pop veiled with melancholy, lead by metronomic rhythmic patterns alongside a meandering sonorous melodic bass line instils subtle moody undertones, laying a vibrant framework for insistent reverberating chilly gushes of wistful crystalline guitar jangling, layered with fluid synth washes, to embrace atmospheric, introspective vocals, struggling to be spiritual and interconnected.
