Formed in 2021 by the creative liaison between Los Angeles-based musicians Lauren Andino (vocals, Moog, guitar) and Glenn Fryatt (drums), the dreamy duo Tremours, have dropped, right at the end of their US/UK tour with Ceremony East Coast, the first single, “Circulation Sound,” taken from their highly anticipated debut album via Little Cloud Records.
The pair delve into a heady space at the intersection of immersive sparkling Dreampop and JAMC feedback-dusted Shoegaze with entrancing lysergic sheens, gripped at the helm by crisp throbbing rhythmic motions.
THe droney and hypnotizing, “Circulation Sound” deals with how the stains of the past block present-day fulfilment.
A full-bodied, spectral, and vaguely psychedelic spell deep-rooted on unhurried yet vibey, stumbling percussive grooves, where the guitar subtly distils perceptive and sensory alterations in a dizzy spiral of flickering synth resonances, muted distortions, and rugged sonorous bass drones, to coalesce, hypnotically, in a swelling drowsy haze around elated introspective vocals, radiating melancholy and hope, into a circular mesmerizing loop.
Keep up with Tremours:
